FRIDAY EVENING introduction/explanation & demonstration of Yantra Yoga, Tibetan Yoga of Movement,
FOLLOWED BY first level weekend course, including:
-Preparatory Purification Breathing
-Pranayama of the 4 Profound Applications, 'Rhythmic Breathing'
-Yantras of the 1st & 2nd Series
One of the most ancient recorded systems of yoga in the world, Yantra Yoga was first taught in Tibet in the eighth century. It has been preserved in its unadulterated form to this day and was transmitted in the West by esteemed Dzogchen Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. Emphasising the coordination of breath and movement, Yantra Yoga helps us learn meditation through experience.
