Tibetan Khaita Joyful Dance and Traditional Performing Arts Instructors
Tsering Dolker learnt her first Tibetan songs from her grandmother, who was a famous singer in Tibet. Topgyal Gontse received both Tibetan and western education at the Tibetan Children's Village School at Dharamsala. After obtaining a Bachelor degree in commerce, he worked for three years in a Tibetan Higher Secondary School in Kathmandu. After their marriage, Tsering and Topgyal went to India for further personal and intensive training in the Tibetan Arts of singing and dancing, with Mr. Dawa Tashi. Since 2011, under the direction of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu , she and her husband have choreographed many Khaita Joyful dances and travelled internationally to teach and perform traditional Tibetan songs and dances as well as contemporary Khaita, showcasing public presentations of a living Tibetan culture. They worked for some years for the Shang Shung Foundation in Italy, as instructors of Khaita and traditional Tibetan dances and songs. As well as Khaita Instructor Diplomas from the Shang Shung Foundation, they also have been awarded diplomas by the CID (International Dance Council, affiliated with UNESCO). Chögyal Namkhai Norbu has appointed them as the main Khaita instructors for the Oceania region, and as such they are joint head of the Shang Shung Institute Australia department for Tibetan Performing Arts. Santi Maha Sangha local teachers
Angie Gilbert began studying and practicing Buddhism when she was twenty years old, with Laurence Mills, then known as Venerable Phra Khantipalo, the Abbot of Wat Buddha Dharma, a Theravada Monastery near Sydney.
Twelve years later through this association she met Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. Since this time she has been Chogyal Namkhai Norbu’s student and in 2002, she became an authorised Base Level Instructor of his Santi Maha Sangha study and practice program. Angie has lead and taught many SMS retreats around Australia and New Zealand. Angie lives in Geelong, Melbourne with her husband. She has three grown up children and works in Community Services. Arnaud Coquillard lives in Gympie, Sunshine Coast, Australia.
He has been a student of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu since 2008. He has been authorised to teach he Base level of Santi Maha Sangha in 2015. Emily Coleing is a 2nd Level Yantra Yoga Instructor.
Emily Coleing has been a student of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu since 1995. She was authorised in 2003 to teach Yantra Yoga and received the second Level Diploma from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in 2010. She is also an authorised Kumar Kumari Yantra Yoga Instructor. Emily teaches Buddhist scripture at Byron Bay Public School. She is certified to teach Hatha yoga in the tradition of Desickachar and Purna Yoga. Oni McKinstry is a 3rd Level Yantra Yoga Instructor.
She now lives in Tasmania. Since meeting her Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and learning Yantra Yoga from him and his senior instructors Fabio and Laura, Oni devotes a lot of her time to this practice. Authorised to teach Yantra Yoga in 2005, Oni has also been teaching Hatha Yoga since 1993 and is registered as E-RYT 500 instructor with Yoga Alliance USA. Oni has extensive experience in adapting yoga appropriately to the individual. She is also authorised by Fabio Andrico to teach Breathe. |

Lindy Pulsford is a 1st Level Yantra Yoga Instructor.
Lindy Pulsford has been authorised to teach Yantra Yoga by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. She first met Chögyal Namkhai Norbu 24 years ago when she was 19 and has been his student ever since. Lindy is passionate about the benefits of Yantra and views teaching it as an honour. She lives in Adelaide, South Australia and is very happy to travel to teach Yantra wherever requested. Lindy is also a certified Hatha Yoga teacher and has a day job as the director of Yoga Kids S.A where she teaches Kids, Family & Adult Yoga & designs yoga and mindfulness programs for schools. Thuy Nguyen is a 1st Level Yantra Yoga Instructor and Kumar Kumari Instructor
(and 1st Level Vajra Dance Instructor and Khaita Dance Instructor) In early 2007 Thuy met with the teachings of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and soon after started learning Yantra Yoga and Vajra dance. She continued to deepen her experience, knowledge and understanding through practice and further study at numerous courses around the world with Local and International Instructors. She received her Vajra Dance Instructor Diploma (Apr 2015), Yantra Yoga Instructor Diploma (Nov 2016) and Kumar Kumari Instructor Diploma (Nov 2016) by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in Dzamling Gar, Tenerife. She has also been practicing Khaita joyful dances since 2014, and undertook the Khaita Instructors Supervision in Dzamling Gar in April 2016. In July 2019 Thuy undertook the Breathe Teachers Training in Merigar, Italy and received her certificate to teach by Fabio Andrico. Thuy resides part-time in Sydney, Australia and is qualified in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Remedial Massage. She currently works as a physiotherapist in Australia. Mathew Long is a 1st Level Yantra Yoga Instructor
Mathew first did a course of Yantra Yoga with teacher Fabio Andrico who was visiting Australia in 1993, and he soon after became a student of the master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. Yantra Yoga became a core practice, and Mathew received his First Level Yantra Yoga Diploma in 2003. Mathew has also trained and coached in sports and the martial arts, especially Judo. Originally a graduate of Anthropology (ANU), that and his practice of Yantra Yoga further inspired him to complete a three-year course in traditional Tibetan Medicine at the Shang Shung Institute (USA). Mathew has a deep and abiding respect for the effectiveness of the Yantra Yoga system, and feels honoured to teach it. In July 2019, Mathew received his certificate to teach Breathe by Fabio Andrico. Cosimo teaches and organises courses and retreats of the Vajra Dance of the Song of Vajra. He began teaching in Italy in 2008, then continued in Australia where he has lived and taught for the past 6 years. Rosemary Friend is a 1st Level Vajra Dance Instructor.
Since being authorised by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu as a 1st Level Vajra Dance instructor in 2015 in Tenerife, Rosemary has been enjoying developing the art of maintaining her work as a locum medical doctor in rural general practice in south-east Queensland and providing open courses in the Dance of the Vajra that Benefits Beings.
